Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a clan of musicians. She grew up listening to the old and classical boleros as well traditional ranchero, romantic and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of Tangos, opera and every form of dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to sing and play music at an early age by her mother. She received more formal vocal training at the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara in addition to Mexico City, she was a member of many opera chamber and choruses. The year 2000 saw her move into America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist of classic Latin American music at private concerts. She has been involved in many local projects, both as an educator and performer because she is passionate about music and arts. Ana was also a participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for the opportunity to share her love and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire, especially among younger generations in order to keep this vibrant music alive.Viva Mexico!
