Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri was an Indian actress who achieved notoriety for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun as well as Beta Saajan. In the late 80s when she started her acting career, and was popular with the role of Tezaab, in which she starred alongside veteran actor Anil Kapooor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared alongside her. In her early years she began learning at an early stage. She began acting when she was an infant and was struggling for several years because most of her initial film projects were unsuccessful. In the end, she was successful in Indian film and climbed to the very top. Following her marriage, she took some time to rest from her acting career until she returned. Recently, she was an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these, she has won 8. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her fame is based on her social works as well.
